Heritage Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 37-27 win over the Kemper County Wildcats.

Kemper County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Damarius Yates, who rushed for 183 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 59 receiving yards. Gabriel Murray was another key player, rushing for 34 yards and a pair of TDs.

Heritage Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kemper County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Heritage Academy will welcome Copiah Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kemper County, they will head out to face off against Choctaw County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
