On Monday, everything went Riverview Sarasota's way against Lemon Bay as Riverview Sarasota made off with a 57-34 victory. That 57-34 margin sets a new team best for Riverview Sarasota this season.
Riverview Sarasota's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Cole Coggin, who scored 12 points, and Jayden Dudash, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Harris, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Naples ended up a good deal behind Palmetto Ridge on Thursday and lost 63-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Naples has scored all season.
Riverview Sarasota now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Naples, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Riverview Sarasota came up short against Naples in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, falling 65-59. Thankfully for Riverview Sarasota, Tony Green (who scored 27 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
