Softball Recap: Red Bluff Takes a Loss

Red Bluff lost against Shasta two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell 8-3 to the Wolves.

Red Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Shasta, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Red Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Lassen on the 26th. As for Shasta, they will host Chico at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
