Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Piedmont kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alexandria Valley Cubs. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8.

Alexandria's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Piedmont and Alexandria will both be playing Munford the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Valley Cubs will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
