Volleyball Game Preview: Winneconne Wolves vs. Green Bay East Red Devils

The Winneconne Wolves will face off against the Green Bay East Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Winneconne's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Green Bay East has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Winneconne is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since October 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Fox Valley Lutheran, falling 3-0.

Winneconne was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Green Bay East lost 3-0 to Shawano Community on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-16, 25-8.

Winneconne's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-7. As for Green Bay East, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
