Basketball Recap: Morton/White Pass Takes a Loss

Morton/White Pass entered their matchup against Onalaska on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Morton/White Pass Timberwolves had to suffer through a 79-48 loss at the hands of the Onalaska Loggers. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Loggers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Morton/White Pass' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4. As for Onalaska, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

Morton/White Pass and Kalama will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Onalaska, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Black Hills at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Black Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Onalaska likes a good challenge.
