John Curtis Christian and Huntington squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but John Curtis Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huntington Raiders by a score of 61-59. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carley Hamilton was her usual excellent self, going 7-for-17 on her way to 27 points and eight boards for Huntington. Hamilton's big performance that morning made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Kyndal Graham was another key player, shooting 54% from the field to rack up 16 points.

John Curtis Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Huntington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-10 record this season.
