Baseball Recap: Christ the Cornerstone Academy Find Success

On Monday Christ the Cornerstone Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Antioch Christian Academy Gators. Five seems to be a good number for the Defenders as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Gavin Inman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Antioch Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christ the Cornerstone Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Mintz Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Antioch Christian Academy will challenge rival Sandhills Classical Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
