Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Perry). They blew past the Bermudian Springs Eagles 18-10 on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their two-run performance the match before.
Taylor Lupfer was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rylann Kelly, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
West Perry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
