Soccer Game Preview: Splendora vs. Pasadena

The Splendora Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Pasadena Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Splendora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

It was a proper cat-fight when Splendora faced off against Kingwood Park on Friday. Splendora took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kingwood Park. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 555th, while the Panthers are ranked 77th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pasadena, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Porter on Friday.

Pasadena has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Splendora, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
