Volleyball Recap: Andrew's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Andrew entered their tilt with Lemont on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lemont HS. The Thunderbolts were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Lemont HS, so the Thunderbolts were just returning the favor.

Andrew easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13.

Scott Dinnon paced Andrew's offense, picking up nine kills. Dinnon got some help from Aidan Aguayo and his 12 assists.

Andrew's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Lemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrew will face off against Hinsdale Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Thunderbolts are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lemont, they will head out to face off against Oak Lawn at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
