Baseball Recap: New Prague Takes a Loss

New Prague fell victim to Orono and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 6-0. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

New Prague's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6. As for Orono, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

Coming up, New Prague will be playing at home against Chanhassen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orono, they will face off against St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
