Basketball Recap: Lawson Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lawson and Mid-Buchanan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lawson had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 36-31 to the Mid-Buchanan Dragons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Lawson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Mid-Buchanan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lawson nor Mid-Buchanan have any future games scheduled.
