Baseball Game Preview: West Fork Spartans vs. Central Springs Panthers

The West Fork Spartans will head out to take on the Central Springs Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Fork has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Fork is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Tuesday. They came up short against Newman Catholic, falling 23-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered against the Knights since May 28, 2024.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Central Springs took on Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3.

Central Springs now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
