Basketball Recap: Tea Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brookings last Monday, Tea came back down to earth. The Tea Titans took a hard 61-43 fall against the Western Christian Wolfpack on Saturday. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tea has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Western Christian, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tea will venture away from home to take on Pierre T.F. Riggs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tea is facing Pierre T.F. Riggs at the right time seeing as Pierre T.F. Riggs is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Western Christian, they will take on Lennox at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Lennox likes a good challenge.
