Basketball Recap: Granville Central Takes a Loss

Granville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 71-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 61-47.

Granville Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Durham School of the Arts, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-15.

Granville Central will head out to challenge Louisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Durham School of the Arts, they will challenge Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
