Pioneer Valley Regional put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles 15-5. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Pioneer Valley Regional let Alex McClelland and Ethan Quinn run wild. McClelland went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Quinn went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Quinn has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Mauthe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Pioneer Valley Regional was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in three consecutive games.

Pioneer Valley Regional's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.

Looking ahead, Pioneer Valley Regional is taking a road trip to take on Drury at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
