Softball Recap: Long Reach Takes a Loss

Long Reach made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Atholton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lightning fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lightning in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Long Reach now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Atholton, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Raiders beat Long Reach by a score of 9-3 later that day.
