Basketball Recap: Bryan Station Takes a Loss

Bryan Station lost against Frederick Douglass back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bryan Station Defenders were dealt a 72-26 defeat at the hands of the Frederick Douglass Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Defenders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Broncos are ranked 11th).

Bryan Station has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Frederick Douglass, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Scott County the next time they take the court. Frederick Douglass will head out to face Scott County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Bryan Station will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
