Milton-Union came up short on Monday despite Sophie Layman delivering her best game to date. Layman posted two points along with ten rebounds, seven blocks, and three steals. The performance marked the most steals she has had since back in January of 2024. She has become a key player for Milton-Union: the team is 10-1 when she posts at least eight boards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Layman and Milton-Union will head out to take on Bethel at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
