Recap: Henry County Patriots vs. Calloway County Lakers
After flying high against the Kenwood Knights last Tuesday, the Henry County Patriots came back down to earth. The contest between Henry County and Calloway County wasn't particularly close, with Henry County falling 58-42. Henry County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Calloway County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.
Sayler Lowe was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds for Calloway County. Lowe hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidan Koch, who scored 16 points.
Henry County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Calloway County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henry County will challenge Dickson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dickson County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Calloway County, they will head out on the road to square off against Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian Fellowship is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
