Baseball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

St. John was the 10-0 winner over Houma Christian when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The St. John Eagles took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houma Christian Warriors on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Houma Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

St. John wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Buckeye on the 7th. As for Houma Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-7 victory against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy on the 7th.
