Del Valle won the last time they faced Bel Air and things went their way on Friday too. The Conquistadores walked away with a 6-1 win over the Highlanders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquistadores.

DIEGO VILLALOBOS made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. VILLALOBOS was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, BRYAN GARCIA was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was IAN PACHECO, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Del Valle's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bel Air, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Del Valle will square off against rival Horizon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Conquistadores 3.5, the Scorpions 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bel Air is set to challenge their familiar foe El Dorado at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
