Volleyball Game Preview: Rancho Dominguez Lobos vs. Banning Pilots

The Rancho Dominguez Lobos are taking a road trip to take on the Banning Pilots at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Banning took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rancho Dominguez, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Rancho Dominguez turned things around against Gardena on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Panthers.

While Rancho Dominguez might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Gardena scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 20-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Banning didn't have quite enough to beat Taft on Saturday and fell 1-0.

Rancho Dominguez's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Banning, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7-2.

Rancho Dominguez suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Banning when the teams last played on April 4th. Can the Lobos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
