Buena has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 18. They came up short against the Cienega Bobcats on Thursday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Bobcats are ranked 29th).

Buena was without their leading scorer, Connor Tebo, in Thursday's contest. With Tebo sidelined, Nathaniel Albertson got his first action of the season.

Buena's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Cienega, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-1.

Buena will venture away from home to face off against Desert View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cienega, they will host Corona del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cienega has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 15 goals over their last three matches.
