Softball Recap: Prairie Ridge's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

Prairie Ridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McHenry, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolves fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The matchup marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Prairie Ridge fell to 12-1-2. As for McHenry, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Prairie Ridge will head out on the road to take on Jacobs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for McHenry, they will face off against Sycamore at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
