Basketball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

If Bryan was feeling good fresh off their 64-43 takedown of Stryker last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bryan Golden Bears took a 53-38 bruising from the Defiance Bulldogs on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 39-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Defiance, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Bryan will take on Pettisville in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pettisville will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bryan surely won't give up without a fight. Defiance and Memorial will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Defiance is facing Memorial at the right time seeing as Memorial is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
