Basketball Game Preview: Columbus International Lions vs. Beechcroft Cougars

Columbus International hasn't had much luck against Beechcroft recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Columbus International Lions challenge the Beechcroft Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

Columbus International is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 30th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a blow against Mifflin, falling 75-38. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.

Meanwhile, Beechcroft strolled past East with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 58-40.

Beechcroft's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Columbus International, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Columbus International was dealt a bruising 68-14 loss at the hands of Beechcroft in their previous meeting on January 8th. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Columbus International was down 43-10.
