Basketball Recap: Taishauna Moody's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Citronelle over Faith Academy

Citronelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 47-32 bruising from the Faith Academy Rams. The Wildcats were down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Citronelle's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taishauna Moody, who posted 18 points. Sha'Laya Cunningham was another key player, putting up nine points.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Faith Academy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Citronelle will head out on the road to take on Washington County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
