Volleyball Recap: Riverton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Green River Wolves, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-8.

Riverton's offense was headlined by Alexis Taylor and Lawson Yeates, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Halli Weber and Piper Anderson, who contributed five assists each. Taylor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Green River found their leader in sophomore Brookelyn Phillips, who had 15 digs and one assist. Phillips is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Green River, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Riverton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Evanston on the 16th. As for Green River, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Kelly Walsh on the 17th.
