Soccer Recap: Jim Thorpe's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Jim Thorpe lost to Wilson Area back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Olympians walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors.

Jim Thorpe's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-4. As for Wilson Area, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1-2 and their overall record down to 9-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jim Thorpe is set to challenge their familiar foe Palmerton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wilson Area will take on rival Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
