Nicholas Gaoa handled things on the ground, rushing for 95 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Barstow's defense and their four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Quentin Hunter, Rayshawn Thompson, and Elijah Leleimene, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Burroughs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Barstow will challenge Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burroughs, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sultana at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. This will be the Burros' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
