Softball Recap: Crescent City Takes a Loss

Crescent City couldn't beat Peniel Baptist Academy on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Raiders came up short against the Warriors, falling 21-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Crescent City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Allmon, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Vivianna Santana also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Crescent City has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Crescent City nor Peniel Baptist Academy have any future games scheduled.
