Volleyball Recap: Tidewater Academy Falls to Richmond Christian in First Game of Season

Tidewater Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to Richmond Christian on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

While Tidewater Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Richmond Christian's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tidewater Academy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Suffolk Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richmond Christian, they will take on New Covenant at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
