Football Recap: Osceola Skates Past Countryside with Ease + How To Watch

Osceola waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They really took it to the Countryside Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 36-7 win. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Leland Valentine produced another solid effort rushing for 114 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Brandt Scott, who rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Osceola was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Osceola's defense stepped up as well, laying out Cam Waddington four times. In that department, Dustin Martin was the leader with two sacks.

Osceola's record now sits at 5-3. As for Countryside, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Osceola will welcome St. Petersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Green Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Countryside, they will head out on the road to challenge Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 28 points per game this season.
