Softball Recap: California School for the Deaf Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Lick-Wilmerding last Tuesday, California School for the Deaf came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots on Thursday, falling 17-1. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Alice Seyffart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

California School for the Deaf's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

California School for the Deaf will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lick-Wilmerding at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, they will welcome Salesian College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
