Basketball Recap: Lyons Takes a Loss

Lyons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 39-30 to the Kingman Eagles. The Lions lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 50-19 score last time.

Lyons' loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Kingman, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-13.

Lyons wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-41 victory against Trinity on the 23rd. As for Kingman, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Douglass at 6:00 p.m.
