With a playoff win on the line, Auburn rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the Chilhowie Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 16 contests in a row.

Auburn's victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Chilhowie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-6.
