For the first time in his career, Colt Wright scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 61 receiving yards and one score, helping propel Wimberley past Canyon Lake by a score of 36-35. Wright's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Looking ahead, Wright and Wimberley will square off against Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
