Volleyball Recap: Grafton Comes Up Short

Grafton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hopedale Blue Raiders. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Grafton's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Hopedale, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Grafton will head out to challenge Nashoba Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Wolves have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hopedale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blackstone-Millville at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
