Volleyball Recap: Madison Rodriquez Key Part of Team Effort in Trojans Win + How To Watch

Pahrump Valley hadn't done well against Boulder City recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Trojans skirted past the Eagles 3-2. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Pahrump Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 22-25, 27-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Pahrump Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Rodriquez, who had nine digs. Those nine digs gave Rodriquez a new career-high. Myah Krolczyk also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Pahrump Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Pahrump Valley and bumps their season record up to 4-9. As for Boulder City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Pahrump Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Virgin Valley on the 27th. As for Boulder City, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Moapa Valley on the 27th.
