Basketball Game Preview: Indian Valley Braves vs. Cambridge Bobcats

Indian Valley has won six straight games at home, while Cambridge has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Indian Valley Braves will be taking part in a tournament against the Cambridge Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Indian Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Cambridge likes a good challenge.

Indian Valley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They blew past Indian Creek 61-29. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cambridge earned a 52-45 victory over East Liverpool on Saturday.

Cambridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Indian Valley, their win bumped their record up to 19-4.

Indian Valley beat Cambridge 53-43 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Indian Valley repeat their success, or does Cambridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
