Baseball Recap: Northlake Christian Comes Up Short

Northlake Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.65 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 12-3 to the Parkview Baptist Eagles.

Northlake Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton West, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Northlake Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Parkview Baptist, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Coming up, Northlake Christian will head out to face off against St. Charles Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Parkview Baptist, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lutheran South Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Parkview Baptist has won three straight at home, while Lutheran South Academy won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
