On Thursday Mount View's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Summers County Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Tuesday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mount View who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 18-25, 25-13, 21-25, 17-15.

Mount View's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Summers County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Mount View will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Bluefield at 7:00 p.m. As for Summers County, they will head out on the road to take on Meadow Bridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
