Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Snags 15th Victory in Last 17 Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Cobb, Union Grove was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

McKenzie Burrell paced Union Grove's offense, picking up six kills. Burrell got some help from Sadie Peterson and her 15 assists. Kylee Evans controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Union Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5-1 record this season. As for Tri-Cities, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Union Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against South Forsyth on the 27th. As for Tri-Cities, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Carver on the 30th.
