Tri-County had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 5-1 to make it four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Central Trojans, sneaking past 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Tuesday.
The team relied heavily on Grayson Schneider, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Drew Foster, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

That double marked the first that Huber has hit this season. Teagan Holle was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-County will head out to take on Benton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Knox at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
