Venice won the last time they faced Clearwater Central Catholic and things went their way  on Friday too. The Indians enjoyed a cozy  35-21 victory over the Marauders. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Indians.
Venice got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Darryon Jones out in front who rushed for 118 yards on only 15 carries, and also threw for 139 yards and two  TDs. The Indians' leading receiver  Tyree Mannings was  Jones' top target yet again, picking up 76 receiving yards and one  score, while also rushing for 67 yards on only seven carries.
