Salem entered their tilt with Valley Springs on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 12-0 shutout. The Greyhounds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Salem's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Springs, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
