Softball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge fell victim to Watkins Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Northridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Watkins Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northridge is set to take on their familiar foe Utica at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Watkins Memorial will challenge rival Zanesville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
