Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Takes a Loss

Rocky Mountain and Fruita Monument squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rocky Mountain had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Lobos' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Rocky Mountain actually scored more points across those five sets (103-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 16-25, 19-25, 15-10.

Rocky Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Fruita Monument, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Rocky Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fruita Monument, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fossil Ridge on the 8th.
